Poem from a letter written by Len Hussey to his friend Wally Dodd from France in October 1917. Leonard Hussey, a driver, enlisted on 23 August 1915 aged 40. A member of the 50th Battalion he served in France suffering considerably from frostbite and scabies. He returned to Australia in 1919.
