The State Library holds 48 film reels (available on videotape) taken by Laurence S Casson between 1934-1976. Casson's recordings show Pinnaroo and the surrounding district, family occasions and various South Australian events. This page brings together footage of various South Australian country locations such as Barmera, Murray Bridge, Robe and Victor Harbor. Contents include: Barmera - an overview of the town and scenes of holiday makers in the caravan park, and sailing on Lake Bonney Robe - a panorama of the foreshore showing moored sailboats, seaside buildings and the jetty Farm vehicles - a procession of farm trucks laden with crops Granite Island - many of Victor Harbor's famous landmarks, such as the Granite Island causeway, Remarkable Rocks, the Bluff, and Encounter Bay Murray Bridge - streetscapes of the town |
