Description :

W.R. Pybus was born in Adelaide in 1848. He was organist of Kent Town Methodist Church for 14 years and subsequently of Tynte Street Baptist Church and Flinders Street Presbyterian Church. He was the city organist for a number of years from 1891, and conducted, at various times, the Adelaide Philharmonic Society and the Adelaide Liedertafel.
