Close view of a Silvereye (Zosterops lateralis) on its nest.

Also known as the Blight-bird and Sivie. Although it disperses in pairs to breed the populations are migratory and often travels in flocks of hundreds. Common in all kinds of wooded country including orchards, it feeds on insects and native fruit and berries as well as cultivated fruit - Cayley
