Situated on the north east corner of the intersection of Rundle Street and King William Street, the original 'beehive corner' building was much plainer than the ornate Gothic Revival style building which stands on this site today. Shops shown in this image include a Homeopathic Pharmacy, I Simmons & Co. (clothiers), JT Fickling (tailor), Northmore & Dean, ES Wigg & Son (stationers), RN Gault & Co. (drapers). |
