Letter from John E. Bray to C.P.Mountford during the American-Australian Scientific Expedition to Arnhem Land. Bray estimates the ration payments required for the employment of Aboriginal residents of Yirrkala Mission during the Expedition's stay. Includes a list of names of men currently living at the Yirrkala Mission. 20 July, 1948. This is followed by a list of the residents of the Mission that were employed during the Expedition's stay, including their assigned tasks, and in some instances their marital status. |
