Description : |
The first significant numbers of German immigrants began arriving in South Australia from 1838. The town of Klemzig, just a few miles from Adelaide, was one of the first settlements made. The Lutheran Church remained an important part in the German immigrants' lives. Presented here is the title page of a German language hymn book printed at Klemzig in 1860. |
