Portraits of Adelaide Liedertafel members in 1904. To see the individual portraits from this composite do a number search on B 36689/1 to B 36689/35. The Adelaide Liedertafel (a male choir) was founded in 1858 with Carl Linger, later the composer of the Song of Australia, as conductor. It is still in existence today as the Adelaider Liedertafel 1858 and claims to be the oldest continuing choir in Australia. |
