Volume 1 Number 2 published in October 1972 was the first edition to carry the title 'Canary'. Previously a 2 sided foolscap flyer, Number 2 expanded to 14 pages. This issue dealt with the U.S. military attitude to homosexuality, Christianity and homosexuality, the U.K. Wolfenden Act, formation of an electoral lobby, aspects of law reform prior to the upcoming, 2 December 1972, Federal Election and the opening of the new A.C./D.C. Club. |
