Description : |
Wednesday 3 January 2007, Pine Point Hall (Mulloowurtie Hall) "Mandy Barton's celebration of the seasons and moods of life by the sea, shacks and countryside of mid-Yorke Peninsula. Pine Point, Black Point, Wauraltee Beach, Port Rickaby and surrounds." Poster includes three photographs by Mandy Barton. The photographic images are 'Sunset Pt Alfred', 'Summer landscape, Black Point', and 'Harvest tracks, Pine Point'. Mandy Barton is an amateur photographer exhibiting for the first time. The one-day exhibition was well attended and considered successful as many local people and shack owners purchased photographs. Some locals commented that they saw their familiar landscape with new eyes following the exhibition. This also inspired exhibitions of work by other photographers. Mandy Barton and her family are local shack owners. |
