Includes promotional flier 'Yorke Peninsula Saltwater Classic' The Yorke Peninsula Saltwater Classic was established in 2003. While wooden and classic boats including fishing boats are the featured types in the event all boat types are welcome to enter. The event is run between the adjacent ports of Port Vincent and Stansbury: on the Saturday the event started in Port Vincent with a regatta parade of vessels, which later escorted the sail traing ship One and All, flagship to the event, along the coast to Stansbury. On Sunday there was a regatta run from Port Vincent to Stansbury. In the short time the Saltwater Classic has been running its reputation has grown and entries as well as visitors come from interstate as well as more locally from South Australia and the Peninsula. |
