From the Advertiser, 27 August 1938. 25 August, Mountford recorded that day's findings.
26 August was spent doing some last minute sieving, and then packing up the camp and the relics they had uncovered. Meanwhile in Adelaide, speculation was mounting over the significance of the unearthed coins. |
