Description : |
In December 1892 Charles Cameron Kingston, later Premier of South Australia, challenged Richard Baker, his old political foe, to a duel with pistols in Victoria Square. Baker sent the police in his stead to meet Kingston at the appointed time. This cartoon alludes to the duel and "what might have been" if Kingston and Baker had met. |
