The Yorke Valley Agricultural, Horticultural and Floricultural Society was formed in June 1878. The society was formed for the purpose of holding, 'annual shows for the education, instruction and entertainment of all concerned.' The first show was held in September 1878. Exhibits included machinery, produce, stock and ploughing competitions. |
