Newspaper report on Constable William McKinnon, of the Northern Territory police, travelling from Oodnadatta to Alice Springs for the sitting of the Commonwealth Board of Enquiry into the ill-treatment of Aboriginal people near Uluru. The Board sought to enquire into McKinnon's treatment of the Aboriginal men in his custody following their arrest on a charge of murdering their tribesman, Kai-Umen, in Central Australia. |
