Description : |
Ern Malley's poems were published in the autumn issue of Adelaide literary journal Angry Penguins in 1944. The magazine's editor, Max Harris, believed he had discovered a literary genius in Malley. Almost immediately, however, rumours began circulating that Ern Malley did not exist. This newspaper article reports on the claims of an Adelaide University lecturer that the Ern Malley poems were written by Max Harris. |
