Description : |
Aboriginal children from Ernabella, playing on a swing attached to a tree. A ladder is propped against the tree for climbing. Swings are universally popular play equipment, whether the formal consrtuctions in school and council playgrounds, carefully monitored to ensure that all safety standards are met, or a home-made affair utilising a tree, some rope, perhaps a tyre and the pure pleasure of swinging through the air. |
