Description : |
H.M.S. Protector Officers. My great uncle Henry White and his brother Joseph both served on HMCS Protector. Joseph was the stoker and Henry was the Petty Officer. He may have been chosen to go to the Boxer Rebellion in China during the Crisis. Other crew members I have been told about are Henry Barnes, gunner JD Turner, Engineer McNeil and officers Clarkson, Weir, Argent, Norton and Cpt Cresswell who took over from Capt Clare. |
