Description : |
Portrait of an Aboriginal woman 'Teenminnie', in profile, carrying her small child on her back, both wrapped in a kangaroo skin cloak, and she has a walking stick. Photographer was probably Captain Samuel Sweet and the location was probably in Point McLeay Region. A later caption provides the name 'Narahminyerie'.
