Description : |
Janet Matthews established the mission at Manunka in 1901. Prior to this she had assisted her husband Daniel elsewhere in his missionary work. The Aboriginal children were educated in the small school she established but there was little opportunity for them beyond the mission itself. The mission closed in 1916. This is the annual report for 1908-9. |
