Eyre reports to the Government on the Aboriginal people at Moorunde as well as further upstream; their response to kindness and the difficulties they have, as a result of being declared British citizens, in interpreting the law. Eyre pleads for them to granted rights under the law to give evidence in court cases where they are involved. |
