Description : |
The Royal Commission investigated the work of the Protector of Aborigines, The Aborigines' Friends Association and the Yorke's Peninsula Aboriginal Mission. Evidence was collected both from those in charge of the Missions at Point McLeay and Point Pierce and from the Aboriginal people at the missions. The recommendation from the Report was that the management of the missions be taken over by the Government. The statements of several witnesses are also included. |
