Extracts from newspaper article reporting that the Premiers have returned to their home states with an agreement on the Murray waters to be ratified by the state parliaments. In 1915 the River Murray Waters Agreement was signed by the three states of South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales, and the Commonwealth In 1917, the River Murray Commission was constituted to administer the Agreement. |
