View of the wall of the Barossa Reservoir, known as the Whispering Wall for its sound carrying properties. Built between 1899 and 1903, the wall was a feat of engineering which gained attention overseas. It is 27 metres tall, 10 metres wide at the base and tapering to just a narrow walkway at the top. |
