Description :

Located at Clayton, Coorong area, Map on back of menu

Yabby City Restaurant was located at Clayton in 'Lake country' of the Lower Murray. This c1989 menu described the restaurant as 'famous for yabbies and fish caught from the lakes and Coorong'. Gloria Jones and family are commercial fishers who in 1974 established a tourist complex at Clayton where fish and yabbies could be marketed. Due to the condition of the river, yabbies are no longer available at the renamed restaurant Sails on Clayton.
