Description :

The Chief Engineer HC Mais, and surveyor CFG Ashwin report on the examination of several river crossings where the first bridge to cross the River Murray in South Australia could be placed. Their report is accompanied by two plans. The bridge at Murray Bridge would not be built for another 10 years.
