Description :

Side view and stern of 'P.S. Industry' passing through Lock 3 downstream, with derrick barge partly obscuring it, and wide view of barrage across the river to opposite bank

Lock 3 is at Overland Corner.  PS Industry is a composite paddle steamer built by GB Wilson, Goolwa, in 1911 and was designed by AJ Inches. The boat was used for lock repairs, snagging and dredging by the South Australian Government and later by the River Murray Commission. It was extensively refitted in 1933. It now stands at Renmark where it is open for inspection daily and operates once a month.
