Sketch of the natural avenue of trees, near Eyre's Station on the Murray at Moorundie. Moorundie (also Moorundee) was an agricultural settlement and Aboriginal station on the east bank of the Murray near Blanchetown. A police station was established for the protection of Europeans and Aborigines. Edward John Eyre was resident magistrate and protector of Aborigines there from October 1841 to December 1844. |
