Description : |
I remember big metal boxes with hinged lids which contained large square dog biscuits made by Menz. We used to go the box to feed our dog "Crackers" a treat. As a kid I remember trialling them myself. They were quite yummy. Menz also packed their assorted biscuits and Yo Yo biscuits in the same kind of box. I also recall coming to town from Aldgate on the Choates Bus and driving along Pulteney Street. As we passed Angas Street you could see a big Menz sign down near the old tram barns. I always wanted a closer look! |
