The lighthouse at Neptune Island, South Australia. My Grandfather John Boyes and my great uncle Thomas Hayter were appointed Third Head Keeper and asst Keeper of South Neptune Island. They were present at the opening ceremony of sea captains and the SA Maritime Board as shown in the original log book dated 1st Nov 1901. |
