The engineer H C Mais reports on the tests carried out on the Murray Bridge to test its strength and stability. Local residents had reported that the bridge appeared to be sinking. The engineer had full confidence in the bridge's bearing capacity. He further reports on the feasibility of a bridge at Wellington. |
