View of the first South Australian horse drawn tramway which ran between Goolwa and Port Elliot to carry cargo from steamers on the River Murray to sea-going vessels. This section of track is now used to carry the Cockle Train (the wide sandy beaches around Goolwa are well known for cockles) a passenger train that operates during school holidays, on public holidays and most weekends. |
