Description :

Invitation to Dora Dallwitz's art exhibition 'A sense of allegory' featuring artwork inspired by the Nullarbor Nymph hoax.

The hoax was perpetrated by a group of locals from Eucla, who thought it would be a bit of a laugh to have a 'nature girl' spotted on the Nullarbor Plain. The nymph attracted worldwide media attention and in May 1972 the hoaxers confessed their prank.
