Description :

Part of the structure of the National Wine Centre of Australia located on the corner of North Terrace and Hackney Road.

The National Wine Centre of Australia opened in October 2001. The facility aims to provide information about and promote the Australian wine industry. The distinctive building is shaped to suggest the form of a wine barrel and both wood and steel are used, reflecting the wooden wine barrels of traditional wine-making and the steel vats often used today.
