Description : |
Wine barrels waiting for dispatch overseas and interstate in a winery at Berri in South Australia's Riverland. The Riverland region of South Australia bounds the River Murray from Blanchetown to the Victorian border. Fruit from the Riverland makes up approximately half of South Australia's annual grape crush. Many well-known wineries source grapes from this region which is made fertile by irrigation from the River Murray. The main varieties grown are chardonnay, shiraz, merlot and cabernet sauvignon. |
