View across the Botanic Gardens of the Bicentennial Conservatory, Adelaide.


Built in 1988 to commemorate the bicentenary of colonisation of Australia by Europeans, the Conservatory is the largestsingle span conservatory in the Southern Hemisphere. It contains plants from the rainforests of Australia , Papua New Guinea, nearby Pacific islands and Indonesia.
