Description : |
Hungarian-born Adelaide resident Charles Rothauser invented the world's first disposable plastic hypodermic syringe in the late 1940s. As a pioneer of the injection-moulding of plastics, Rothauser later developed the first all-plastic toilet cistern. His company, Caroma, is now one of Australia's leading manufacturers of bathroom products. |
