Description :

The Assassins emerged from the break up of the Dagoes, and consisted of Doug Thomas and Ian List. Together they recorded a single Assassination in 1982 which was released in 1983. Doug Thomas, founder and owner of GPR and Ian List went on to perform in bands such as the The Spikes and The UVs

Their discography includes: A single Assassination (the b side being Suicide) released on Greasy Pop in 1983; their version of the Stooges song 1969 on the Satellite Records 1987 compilation Raw Cuts volume 4, In 1990 they released a shared 12" with the UV's titled Kill the Prime Minister.
