Interview with South Australia's 31st Governor, Dame Roma Mitchell, AC DBE, three years after her swearing in on 6 February 1991, as the first woman Governor in Australia. Dame Roma is quoted, "It may be that in future both men and women will have to take more time in looking after families to even things up. We have not solved the problem yet. We are not going to get the best of the brains of the country unless we get equality of opportunity." |
