Letter dated 27 August 1945 by W. A. Crack of Brisbane, in which he writes to Charles Mountford asking to join the proposed American-Australian Scientific Expedition to Arnhem Land. The hopeful applicant had seen a newspaper article about the proposed Expedition, and cites his experience on board boats, as a boy scout and as a cook as reason to be considered for a position. |
